National expressway (Kosoku Jidosha Kokudo) is the best & major expressway in Japan. This is the network which boasts the uninterrupted link between Kagoshima Prefexture (southern part of Kyushu) & Aomori Prefecture (northern part of Honshi). The additional expressway of Japan serves the travelers on Okinawa Island & in Hokkaido. These places are not connected to Honshu Kyushu Shikoku.
