China is all set to overtake North America as the world’s largest car market. The ever expanding population of more than one billion people and a rapidly expanding middle class play an important role in it. Car manufacturers all over the world are trying to grab an opportunity in this booming market. China-only variants of popular vehicle brand s are exclusively built to suit the unique tastes and desires of the global market.
Local Chinese car manufacturers are starting to build appealing vehicles not willing to let foreign rides dominate their home turf. It is true that many Chinese cars are still transparent rip-offs of other popular vehicles, but the new lot of Chinese cars are fast catching up with the rest of the world in terms of power, style, design and most important of all, safety. With young people in foreign lands opting for foreign-made cars more than home-made, it will not be long before we see Chinese car dealerships sprouting up on foreign soil. There is more to the Chinese auto industry than most of us realize.

Geely Tiger GT
Geely is delivering the look with its Tiger GT .It looks more Japanese than Chinese. It has a very Mazda-like grille — and in no way a subcompact. Neither of the rear passengers would get a window seat. World as they drive by, only small triangular quarter windows give them a feel of the. Not that it would be going by in a great engine power of this devil is reported 225-hp, 340 lb-ft., with capacity of 3.5-liter V6. Nevertheless, the design is appealing.

Brilliance Junjie Wagon
Pininfarina has developed somewhat a little more than its usual style by introducing the Brilliance Junjie Wagon. Debuted at the Beijing Auto Show and based on the Junjie sedan (also a Pininfarina product). That’s probably no accident, since Brilliance has a partnership with BMW to build 3- and 5-Series cars in China. In the scenario of the sibling BS6’s humiliating European crash test incident, Brilliance seems to have moved a step ahead with their focus on safety, making the Junjie Wagon even more desirable.

Chery QQ3
It looks like a Chinese interpretation of a Honda Fit or a Daewoo Matiz. But this wouldn’t be the company’s first case of a derived inspiration. The strong-selling Chery QQ3 may be simple, but it beats walking, and is even slightly faster. As a city car, the shortcomings of the 0.8 or1.1-liter engines are insignificant when you’re stuck in traffic. If and when Chinese cars arrive here, with or without Bricklin’s help, Chery will probably be among the first. And if the car looks a little familiar, it is just how it is supposed to be.
